About Me
I’m a Ukrainian-born illustrator based in Huntsville, AL. My work is inspired by books, nature, travel, dogs, and everyday life, with a focus on expressive ink line and visual storytelling.
My illustrations have appeared in publications including The New Yorker, New York Magazine, Garden & Gun, and DUCTS Magazine. In 2014, I collaborated with novelist Adrian Barnes on the illustrated surrealist novel Satan à la Mode.
After earning a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Virginia, I spent several years living, traveling, and drawing throughout the United States and Europe. These experiences continue to shape my work, whether I’m illustrating editorial stories, developing picture books, or exploring personal projects.
I’m particularly drawn to projects involving literature, community, food, science, and the natural world. I’m currently developing original picture book projects while continuing to create editorial and commercial illustration.
